| We’re Having a Heatwave in September… This week, the temperatures will be in the 90s. I guess it’s our turn for the heat along with fire. On Labor Day we’ll BBQ in the morning and head inside to eat. WIP (Whip it Good) Still working on Geordie and my other secret book project…. What’s Heating up the Kitchen? I have two pear trees that are bursting with fruit. Yeah, I’m scrambling to use as many pears as I can and I give away a large amount too. Here’s a recipe from Frog Hollow Farm for Pears on Bruschetta with Gorgonzola Cheese. It says the pears should be Warren Pears, mine are not, and it works just fine. What’s heating up your kitchen?
