Almost Free
California is lifting its Covid restrictions on June 15th. I’ve got a lot of mixed emotions about the opening. I’m not going to lie, it’s scary. On the positive side, I’m looking forward to seeing smiling faces again. It might take some time before I’m comfortable being among people without a mask, but I’ll get there.

What’s Cooking
I’m on a cookie craze!! After getting cookies from my local grocery store, I thought, as I wiped the crumbs from my mouth, that I really need more cookie variety in my life. 

I found this recipe for Big Soft Ginger Cookies. This makes up about two dozen and they are oh so good. Use an ice cream scooper to get them into uniform dough balls before baking. Use the scooper after, when you want to top them with ice cream. 

How about putting ice cream between two cookies for an ice cream sandwich…oh my. 

Nothing is better than homemade stuff.
