PaxWorld Feb 2022

Hey Fellow Romance Fanatics,

The Love Holiday
Happy Valentine’s Day, ya’ll. I hope everyone has something very romantic planned for that day. If not, do a self-care day. A facial, pedicure, mani-pedi and massage is always nice.
I hope you like the postcard heading. I had a difficult time finding an image for this month, but I think I nailed it.

Giveaway
We have another giveaway to celebrate Valentine’s Day. I’ve created a spa gift package around my book, Love Contract. You have a choice of five ways to enter, so that means you have a few ways to win. Enter as soon as possible. The contest ends on February 13, 2022 at midnight. Good luck to everyone.

WIP (Whip it Good)
I completed the first draft of the Scotsman’s Kilt: Lachlan. I plan to give myself two more weeks to complete the second draft, then it’s off to the betas. Hopefully, I’ll publish the book by the end of March 2022.

Fun Fact
Halfway through Lachlan’s story, I wanted to increase my word count per day, so I’ve been dictating the book. It was very weird in the beginning, but now I like it. One benefit is that my hands aren’t cramped by the end of my writing sessions. The second benefit is, I’m meeting my daily quota. In fact, I’m dictating this right now.

What’s Heating up the Kitchen?
This month I’m sharing my recipe for Grand Marnier Soufflé. Now, before everyone rolls their eyes, this is a very simple recipe and looks impressive when it comes out of the oven. Just make sure you’re ready to eat the dessert when it’s done because it must be consumed immediately. Remember to make the custard sauce and have it chilled before you pop the soufflé into the oven.

This recipe is from the magazine Real Simple. They listed the recipe as Orange Soufflé. Okay, so I renamed it. I’m making this for my guy on Valentine’s Day. There’s also a chocolate version for all you chocoholics. (Use the custard recipe for both versions. There are a few variations.)
Grand Marnier (Orange) Soufflé… Custard Sauce… Chocolate Soufflé
What’s heating up your kitchen? Don’t be shy. Send me a recipe to share and if you’d like, include a photo of you cooking or not. We might just post it. (It’s probably a dead certain we will.) Just hit the reply button on this email and attach the info.

Thank you so much for reading, participating and being generally awesome!!

Love ya, and stay amazing,
Pax
